Cookie Policy
Draft for solicitor review, not yet approved. Last updated 22 October 20261. Your choice
When you first visit, a banner asks you to accept or decline analytics cookies. Both choices have equal weight. Nothing that measures your visit is switched on until you accept. If you decline, or ignore the banner, no analytics cookies are set and no analytics data is sent to Google. The site works in full either way.
Your choice is remembered for six months, after which we ask again. You can change it at any time using the Cookie settings link at the bottom of every page.
2. What we use
_ga. Set by Google Analytics 4. Tells us which visits come from the same browser, so we can count visitors. Lasts up to 2 years. Needs your consent.
_ga_LBHFRKF4QV. Set by Google Analytics 4. Keeps track of a visit so we can see which pages are read and which route leads to an enquiry. Lasts up to 2 years. Needs your consent.
db_consent. Set by this website, in your browser's local storage. Remembers whether you accepted or declined, so we do not ask on every page. Lasts 6 months. Strictly necessary, so it does not need consent.
db_utm items and db_first. Set by this website, in your browser's session storage. Remember the advert, campaign tag or site that brought you here while you move between pages, so an enquiry you choose to send can be linked to its source. Deleted when you close the tab.
db_lead. Set by this website, in your browser's session storage. A short-lived marker used on the thank-you page so a sent enquiry is counted once. Deleted when you close the tab.
[SOLICITOR: we have treated the three session storage items as strictly necessary, because they hold no direct identifiers, are deleted when the tab closes, and make a form you submit work as described in our Privacy Policy. Please confirm. If not, they move behind the same consent choice as analytics.]
3. Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4, provided by Google LLC and Google Ireland Limited, to understand how the site is used: how many people visit, which pages they read, how they arrive, and whether they send an enquiry, call us or open WhatsApp from the site. We use this to improve the site and to see which of our advertising and listings bring genuine enquiries. We do not use it to identify you. Google states that Analytics does not log or store IP addresses. The data is kept for 14 months and then deleted automatically. Analytics runs in Google Consent Mode, set so that all measurement is denied until you accept.
The events we record are: a form sent (and which form), a click on the phone number, and a click on WhatsApp. Your name, email address, phone number and the content of your enquiry are never sent to Google Analytics.
4. What we do not use
We do not use advertising or marketing cookies, remarketing or tracking pixels on this site. We run adverts on other platforms, but they do not place anything on your device from this site. If that changes we will update this policy and ask for your consent first.
5. Other tools that do not set cookies on this site
We use Google Search Console to see how our site appears in Google Search, and Google Business Profile to manage our local listing. These work from Google's own data and do not place cookies on your device when you use our website.
6. How to change or withdraw your choice
Use the Cookie settings link at the bottom of any page to accept or decline again.
Declining does not delete cookies already set. To remove them, clear this site's cookies in your browser settings. You can also block cookies in your browser; guidance is at allaboutcookies.org.
You can install Google's browser add-on to opt out of Analytics across all sites at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
7. Changes
We may update this policy when we change what the site uses. The date at the top shows the latest version.
